Winter Singles-Down in the “Valley  Each winter many singles gather in the Rio Grande valley in south Texas. There are lots of activities in the area and many friends to connect with. Western dance lessons as well as square dance lessons are offered throughout the area and nightly dances provide lots of opportunities for the singles to mingle. This area has numerous RV parks to choose from, but Alamo Rec Vec (800.335.3131) in Alamo and Fun „n Sun (956.399.5800) in San Benito are two of the most popular with singles. Contact the park for availability and rates this season. Be sure to mention that you are a single. Social hours are held most afternoons at both parks usually at 4:00. By the time you receive this newsletter many people will already be in place for the upcoming months but if you are still looking for something to do, keep this area in mind.

Notice of Business Meeting/Election of officers:  We will hold our annual business meeting prior to the SI Dance Rally at 10 AM on April 2, 2012 in Bandera, TX where we will elect officers for 2012-2013 and cover new business items which include possible changes to our bylaws. Please plan to attend as we need as quorum to hold a meeting.
